Stars of Social Media

Our summer social media stars include an adorable pig, a male cat lady, and a funny vet.

Nathan the CatLady Helps Pet Rescue Organizations Around the World.

He’s raised lots of funds to help established two sanctuaries and more.

Nathan the CatLady lives in Los Angeles, which is fitting for a cat-saving superstar. He reported that he has had cats and dogs all his life, and his first adopted kitty as an adult was Pickles, who enjoys outings to the park in his stroller. Pickles has three cat siblings: Ginger, Annie, and Theodora. They are all leash-trained. Sadly, Theodora’s predecessor, beloved Princess, passed away.

Nathan shared, “I have worked with rescues and non-profits all over the country. I helped Beagle Freedom turn an animal testing lab into a sanctuary in Nowata, Oklahoma by raising around $200,000 in supplies from my sponsors. In LA, I raised over $45,000 in funds to build Nathan’s CatLady Oasis at Milos Sanctuary.” He added, “I have a foster program through Stray Cat Alliance where people receive a $500 welcome bundle donated by sponsors.” His videos are very funny, some with him in his trademark robe (he sells robes to raise funds to help animals). In a few videos, Nathan attended a pet convention with his friend (in bathrobes), sang cat-aoke, played with toys and syringes, juggled, and more.
